How do i get a cameradummy in x2 models

just a quick question. im building a ship for x2 and have done a lot for x3 where you use a camerdummy for the pilot view / link to fwd guns and such. However in x2 there is no cameradummy and my best guess is that the pilot view and fwd gun link comes for the fuselage mesh..the only issue I have is how do I make a link so my pilot view is in the right place and it links to the guns...currently linking to the center mesh crashes and when I link (via x2 editor) to the 940 it pops my pilot view into the center of the ship and the guns don't respond.

anyones help would be great.

In the X2 need to defined "cockpit" and "laser" special markers inside the part model - it has described in X2_GFX_Modding.pdf, you will found it here X²: The Threat Modder Kit (Revision 1.4)

heh I made my own cameradummy similar to x3..works great. took me a day to think of it and 10 min to make it...go figure.
