[X3AP] Mobile mining setup?

Here's the scenario:

- 20 Demeter Miners set to mine ore and silicon respectively.
- 1 CLS 2 Elephant charged with picking up the minerals.

When the Elephant comes to pickup, the demeter miners stop completely.

They still have the order Mine minerals, but action says none. They stay this way usually for 1-3 minutes on 1000% until they start working again. I say usually, because there's some instances where they completely stop but no notification.

Is this a bug due to CLS 2 emptying their cargoholds or intentional design?
Sure glad I didn't purchase a new computer this release.

It is vanilla behavior (in the mobile mining script; not CLS2). Whether or not it is intentional is unclear.

If you play a modified game, then Mobile Mining Mk2 (in my sig) fixes a lot of the problems with vanilla mobile mining.

If you are playing a vanilla game, then you want the CLS2 ship to collect minerals before the miners become full.

Just guessing at this next part, but you probably do not want to homebase your miners to the TL if you are using CLS2 for this purpose. You are, in essence, using CLS2 to work around a known issue with the mobile mining scripts.

Found out that just using

- 20 Mistral SF as miners
- 1 TL set to collect at rougly when the mistrals are at 75% capacity

works golden towards minimizing micromanagement/restarting the miners.
Sure glad I didn't purchase a new computer this release.
