Tiger Frigate blueprint (Albion Prelude)

I swear blind when I couldn't afford it I came across a merchant selling Split Tiger Frigate blueprints for around six million credits but now that I have the money I've spent two days scouring Split sectors and I can't find him anywhere.

Does anyone know where this guy hangs out or did I misread his offer and it's not possible to pick up an M7's blueprint so cheaply?

Blueprints are pretty random. You may not find the same deal again anytime soon, but you will find other bargains if you keep looking.

look out for return ship missions.
You can get them (M7/M8) for very little effort,slight rep loss and a bit of harassment from the "local fuzz".

i'll add to this and say they only show up after you have placed your HQ. No use looking for them unless you have it placed.

Ah yes I have quite a low ranking with all the races except the Argon who think I am a god so I'll search around their sectors for return my ship missions then

I assume the harder the mission the better the ship yes?

Wait, you got a blueprint for something bigger then a m6 from a npc? I didn't think that was possible. This vanilla because I've never seen npcs offer anything but m6 and below, have had to always reverse engineer anything bigger.
