X3AP can you 'remote collect' objects in space like satellites or wares?

I was trying to have one of my satellites picked up by my TM but could not get it to work, even not when I controlled it remotely via the monitor. Can this be done by some software extension, for example by ordering a ship to pick up a satellite or a ware container floating in space?

Special Command Software is what you want. Not sure about Satellites, but I know it lets you pick up stuff like Ore (if the ship has an Ore Collector), missiles and other loot.

Can't pick up Secret Containers that way though. That one box in Split Fire planetary atmosphere continues to elude and taunt me.

Have you tried "MARS" mod?
I think it's that one that has a special robot that you can command to collect found wares.
If not that one, just ask or check in s/m forum.

Otherwise I would try a ship with as much shielding as possible.
Not sure which one that is ,but there are a number of statistic charts etc.

Wares, yes. Satellites, no.

As said, use Special Command Software to "Collect Wares in Sector...".

But TMs can't carry out that command. Not in my experience, anyway. I know TSs and fighters can, but a TM with Special Command Software does not seem to be able to "Collect Wares" or anything of the sort.

imperium3 is correct. TM's, for some odd reason, can't pick up wares. Strange but true.

Maybe they have no airlock to collect them? o.O

Sattelites must be collected "by hand" so just fly into them, on low speed.
