Lost my Argon Police License
I think I got scanned while carrying System Overide software in my M5... something stupid like that. I have since ejected said software; I still have Hero of the Federation rep... is there a way I can get the license back? Have tried buying another one but it just disappears.

It's probably under the seat. Mine got stuck in a dried up soda spill.

You ejected, and left, a piece of 'software' worth over half a million credits just to buy a license for 7500 credits? You know how long it would take to make over half a million bounty credits, which I presume is the point of the license?JJRSC wrote:I think I got scanned while carrying System Overide software in my M5... something stupid like that. Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

or hack the pirate station
either way, you should have transferred the thing to the 2nd ship which wont go to argon sectors

MSI GT70 PE2 Dominator Pro: 17,3" 1920x1080, Intel Core i7-4800MQ 2,7GHz - 3,7GHz on Turbo, 16GB DDR3 CL11, nVidia GTX 880M 8GB, Intel HD4600, 1TB 32MB 7200RPM HDD, Windows 8.1 64bit
I'm pretty sure I lost the license b/c I was snagged carrying system override software... I was done with the software, I no longer need it; I had forgotten it was even aboard my M5 (which I hadn't flown in a while.) When I buy another police license, it just disappears as soon as I leave the station. I would like to get another Argon Police license. Does anyone know of a way to get myself reinstated so that I may buy another police license? If not, it's not a biggie, but I would like to get another one if possible.
If you think this is some type of bug or glitch, please let me know that as well. Thank you.

Are you transporting it to Argon space to sell? If so, why?Orion1632 wrote:lol I have tons of weed and booze coming out of my complex, in unknown sector, I haven't lost my license yet.
Do you have your local traders picking it up and taking it to race owned space to be sold?
If neither of those are true, whats your point?
why do I have it in my cargo hold?
well .. sometimes ships get blown up and drop it, so I pick it up and stick it back in my complex for resale.
or the plots want it which they do sometimes.
I've been lucky I guess.
I have yet to lose the police license due to a ship in my fleet carrying booze or weed.
As for the CAG traders, I sometimes see them carrying it to sell.
I think they are CAG.. too many acronyms.

Thing with fuel & weed is, you don't actually need to use traders to sell those as NPC ships will come to you and buy them. In TC I set up booze & weed complexes in every pirate sector that had the asteroids to support them and I had no shortage of customers, the fabs were sold out the majority of the time.
If you're flying a fast ship it likely has something to do with it- you only get in trouble if a customs ship gets close enough to scan you. As I spent a lot of time in my Springblossom, getting scanned didn't happen very often
