Ship Class Key
- Huge: M1, M2, TL.
- Large: M6, M7, M8, TM.
- Small: M3, M4, M5, TS, TP.
Audio
- 'Disable or Enable Audio:'
- Disables or Enables ALL LIFE specific audio.
- Disables or Enables ALL LIFE specific subtitles.
- Range that a ship's audible Mayday can be heard, (in metres).
- Range that a ship's audible Death Scream can be heard, (in metres).
- Range that a ship's audible Smack Talk can be heard, (in metres).
- Range that a ship's audible Leveled Speech can be heard, (in metres).
- Method used to choose the race, voice, face and sex of a LIFE Actor for NPC's, (Pilot or Crew).
* Random: chooses a random race, voice, face and sex.
* Maker: uses the maker race of the actor's ship to choose the race and random for the voice face and sex.
* Actor Name: chooses race and sex using the actor's name and a random voice and face, (with correct sex). This is the most accurate option for NPC's.
- Method used to choose the race, voice, face and sex of a LIFE Actor for Player Owned ships, (Pilot or Crew).
* Random: chooses a random race, voice, face and sex.
* Maker: uses the maker race of the actor's ship to choose the race and random for the voice face and sex.
* Actor Name: chooses race and sex using the actor's name and a random voice and face, (with correct sex).
- Disables or Enables LIFE Actor audio for Player Owned ships.
- Sets the period of time after a ships uses Smack Talk that it has to wait before it can use Smack Talk again, (this cuts down on speech spam).
- 'Disable or Enable Explosion Shockwaves:'
- Disables or Enables ALL effects of LIFE shock waves.
- Disables or Enables the movement of ships caused by an explosion's shock wave.
- Disables or Enables Player screen shake caused by an explosion's shock wave.
- Disable or Enable the warning Klaxon, (audio alarm), for shields and hull being affected by an explosion's shock wave.
- Range that a Huge ship's explosion shockwave will affect other ships and stations, (in metres).
- Range that a Large ship's explosion shockwave will affect other ships and stations, (in metres).
- Range that a Small ship's explosion shockwave will affect other ships and stations, (in metres).
- Scale factor that determines how much a Huge ship's explosion shockwave will damage other ships and stations.
- Scale factor that determines how much a Large ship's explosion shockwave will damage other ships and stations.
- Scale factor that determines how much a Small ship's explosion shockwave will damage other ships and stations.
- Threshold factor that determines when the explosion's shockwave starts affecting a ship's shields and hull.

- 'Disable or Enable Leveling:'
- Disables or Enables ALL NPC ship and Player owned ship leveling.
- The number of kills required for a Huge NPC ship or Huge Player owned ship to level.
- The number of kills required for a Large NPC ship or Large Player owned ship to level.
- The number of kills required for a Small NPC ship or Small Player owned ship to level.
- Disables or Enables the display of kills and levels for NPC and Player owned ships within their names.
- Regenerates an NPC or Player owned ship's hull each time it levels, over a finite period of time, (in seconds); 0 = disable hull regeneration.
- Disables or Enables ONLY Player owned ship leveling.
- Loads the most deadly missile available to a Huge NPC ship or Huge Player owned ship each time it levels, as a percentage of the available cargo space; 0 = disable missile loading.
- Loads the most deadly missile available to a Large NPC ship or Large Player owned ship each time it levels, as a percentage of the available cargo space; 0 = disable missile loading.
- Loads the most deadly missile available to a Small NPC ship or Small Player owned ship each time it levels, as a percentage of the available cargo space; 0 = disable missile loading.
- Total number of tunings added to a Huge NPC ship or a Huge Player owned ship, tunings are added one per level beginning at level 4.
- Total number of tunings added to a Large NPC ship or a Large Player owned ship, tunings are added one per level beginning at level 4.
- Total number of tunings added to a Small NPC ship or a Small Player owned ship, tunings are added one per level beginning at level 4.
- Disables or Enables the counting of Drone kills towards an NPC's leveling progress.
- Searches through the complete X3 universe for LIFE leveled NPC and Player owned ships and resets, their level, kills, tunings and name. *Note* This can take a few seconds or more on a slow CPU and/or heavily loaded X3 universe.
- 'Disable or Enable News:'
- Disables or Enables the collection of LIFE News events and the display of LIFE News articles.
- Disables or Enables the sector limits and notoriety filters on the displaying of LIFE News articles, this allows the player to see ALL LIFE News articles, no matter how far away the News events were generated or how low the Player's Notoriety is with the current owner race of the News.
- Disables or Enables LIFE News generated by anything that is killed by a 'null' killer, ('null' killer is attributed to the Galactic Obliteration Device).
- LIFE news events are collected over a period of time to produce a LIFE News article, (in seconds); the first event is the baseline event, all others within the collection are referenced to the baseline.
- The maximum number of Sector Jumps from the player's current position that Unknown Sector News will be displayed from, (assuming 'Disable or Enable Global News:' is set to 'Disabled').
- The minimum kills required for a LIFE Skirmish News article to be displayed.
- The minimum kills required for a LIFE Conflict News article to be displayed.
- The minimum kills required for a LIFE War News article to be displayed.
- The minimum kills required for a LIFE Bounty News article to be displayed.
- The maximum duration for a LIFE Special News article to exist, (in seconds).
- The maximum duration for a LIFE Skirmish News article to exist, (in seconds).

- The maximum distance in sector jumps that will be scanned for core systems from the player's current position.
- The maximum distance in sector jumps that will be scanned for neighbouring systems around each core system to form a hub.
- The minimum amount of time that a new scan for an individual hub can be restarted. Each hub keeps it's own copy of this sample time, so that if you change position you can receive new Trade News articles.
- The notoriety required to access a sector's trade statistics, if a sector does not meet this notoriety with reference to the News Representative then that sector is skipped, (a skipped core sector means a skipped hub, a skipped neighbour sector means a skipped spoke of a hub).
- The maximum percentage, (quota), of a deficit resource that will generate a Trade News event, the lower the quota the more profit you will receive if you fill that deficit.
- The minimum percentage, (quota), of a surplus product that will generate a Trade News event, the higher the quota the cheaper the surplus product will be to buy.
- 'Disable or Enable Rewards:'
- Disable or Enable ALL LIFE Player Rewards, currently Bounty Rewards and Mayday mission rewards.
- Multiplier for the Bounty Fee collected for killing the Bounty Fugitive.
- Multiplier for the Victims Fee collected for each Victim the Bounty Fugitive killed.
- 'Disable or Enable LIFE:'
- Stop ALL signal scripts which effectively shuts LIFE completely down, this does NOT reset any of LIFE's current state/global variables.
- Disable or Enable LIFE's debug logging, uses log files 99990 through to 99999.
- Resets ALL of LIFE's global variables, this does NOT stop LIFE or reset any local variables contained within objects in the X3 universe.
- Resets ALL of LIFE's Hotkeys.
- Disable or Enable the LIFE initialise message which is shown whenever a saved game is loaded or new game is started, a new game will ALWAYS show this message.
- Disable or Enable LIFE's dynamic Mission popup messages, currently only the Bailed Pilot Dynamic Missions generate these messages.
