The topic says it all, really...

Define "better"?

There are *newer* versions of CAG and CLS on Lucike's web site (via Google Translate).

MK3 Improvement Reloaded or OK Traders can do the job of CAG with less micromanagement. Both have eco-booster systems that ensure that factories get the resources that they need.

Basically, with more automation {starting thirty ships takes a lot of clicking}, possibly better auto-rename options {like wildcards} and without gridlocks, plus removal of experience limits to jumpdrive use But that's just the things that bug me about CAG that I can think of - I'm also trying to reverse-engineer the whole system to fit me better {because, a handful of issues notwithstanding, it is a pretty awesome system}, but I'm not making a whole lot of progress yet.

Both CAG and CLS have the ability to Save and Load Data, which simplifies configuring multiple ships.

Try OK Traders in Homebased-mode instead of CAG.

Yep, but starting them all {especially after adding facilities to a complex, which recalls all the homebase agents} still takes quite a bit of clicking. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to remove the jumpdrive restrictions, as well as figuring out what triggers the "start CAG" option - that way I might be able to knock together a "start CAG for all ships in fleet" kind of deal.

Did I suggest trying homebased OK Traders to replace CAG? ;)

OK Traders is basically a hassle-free replacement for ST/UT and CAG.

Yep, about to try that out too. Didn't mean to sound dismissive - my first urge is to tweak with something.
