When I hit R and look at my list of ships, it only shows the station name for docked ships, not the sector. I find I am constantly clicking on each ship and hitting U to find out where I left it (or worse yet renaming my scrapyard ships with their docked sector so I remember where they are).
Is there any current mod that can help with this? Or is it even possible to add this to the Location column of the Property Owned list? Or perhaps if it isn't possible to add it to the Location, maybe it is possible to do something like the automatic naming and add it to the end of the name (ugly but it would be better than not knowing).
Mod Request: Ship Sector shown in the Property Owned name sorted screen, possible?

I'm not really sure what you mean, since in the property menu by default the ships are grouped by the sector they are currently in. This is unless you have changed the "sort by"-Option in the Options tab of the property menu.

You are correct, I've changed the sorting to be by name, as having them sorted by location seems a bit absurd to me. I have all my ships named by function so that they sort together. For instance, all my CAGs start with... CAG, all my STs start with ST. My active fleet (the one that I'm manually controlling) all start with underscores to sort to the top. This includes the ship that I'm in (double underscore), my current fleet (carrier for my escort fighters, supply ship, TP), as well as two freighters to fetch stuff for resupply.X2-Illuminatus wrote:I'm not really sure what you mean, since in the property menu by default the ships are grouped by the sector they are currently in. This is a much more rational approach for me than having a sort by location where each sector may have multiple functions of ship listed together. I have everything I use most often right at the top - no scrolling all over, I even use the keyboard for most of it. What I would like is to have a name sort (function sort) which includes the sector location.
