Boarding operation rejected????

Hi

I am playing X3TC. I have my boarding operation set up as follows; I fly into system in my M6, pick a target, shed his shields and weapons with ion cannons. I then fly in my Sirokos equip with 2 x boarding pods and 20+ marines. I order the Sirokos to commence boarding using the piracy command. Now this has been working for me until today. Now when I issue the command to board it says Command Rejected!!! I'm targeting TS class ships.

Any ideas guys?

Figured it out. I feel so silly

I had my Sirokos navigation set to follow me. With this enabled it wil not accept a boarding command. Previous boarding attempts I had navigation on my Sirokos set to Stand By

I'm also using a Sirokos, while flying an Aquilo myself.
the Sirokos is always following me when I give the boarding command.

Thats interesting. After realsing that my Sirikos had the 'follow me' order, I then stopped the order and ever since I've not had a problem. In fact last night was very successful with 2 x heavy centaurs and a normal centaur capped

My marine expenditure rate is also decreasing

Is it true that you can't board TS craft?

TSs (normal freighters) may bail like fighters (M5-M3) when you shoot them, and no you cannot board them. Same with passenger transport TPs, and Bomber M8s. You can board TM, TL, M6, M7(M), M1 and M2 (except for some 'special' ships).
