Will asteroid respawn if NPC destroys mine?

Will asteroid respawn if NPC destroys mine?

So I've been reading around a bit and from what I can tell if you destroy an ore/silicon mine in X-Tension then the asteroid that it was based on does not respawn.

My question is does this also apply if an NPC destroys the mine?

I ask because I did the silly thing of placing an ore mine in ore belt as my first station without enough funding for defenses and last time I undocked an orinoco was taking pot shots at it.

Save it or lose it. From a technical standpoint the asteroid ceased to exist when you replaced it with a station that looks like a big rock with stuff stuck on it. Nothing, ever, will make that asteroid exist again.

Thank you. Guess I'll have to start from scratch then and go with my first choice of a wheat farm in AP till i can afford to secure that particular asteroid mine. It's the 51 so YEAH I WANT THAT SUCKER! :)

If you're really not even in a state where you can take down a single Orinoco, maybe you should save up a bit before attempting to own any station? :wink:

there's an Ore-asteroid in Midnight Star with 100 yield.

There is no Midnight Star in X-Tension.
Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

X4 is a journey, not a destination. Have fun on your travels.

Or at least any station that isn't in a system regularly patrolled by a carrier or cruiser.

I like to add madness to my method. Keeps thing's interesting :)
