Mainly for Cycrow. But if anyone else is interested I have found some ships in XSP format online hidden almost unheard of page on something like the 100th page off google search whilst looking for Jorkin's Shipyard.
The turret placements need a bit of work and some shading issues.
Ships are from Star Wars Expanded universe.
Ship File Names are:
ActionIV2
Bothan Cruiser
Republic Dreadnought
Firespray German
ImpEscortGerman
Lambda Shuttle German
Miy'til German
Nova KR German
Rebel_Frigate_2
Scwarm Droid German
Snowspeeder2
Now if anyone wants them, I'll need an idiots guide to posting them online. LOL

Ambushclose sent me a whole heap of ships in xsp format - mainly Star Wars, with a few Star Trek/BSG and couple of others, (there are some similar ships, though - (how many Y-wing versions/copies do we really need?)) - and I've been working my way through the Star Wars ships to make sure they work, not just 'out of the box' (a y-wing and the z-95 headhunter didn't work at all, though I already have working versions of both)), but also after being altered and saved out in the package creator.
I'm altering them all atm, balancing them out how I want, and to get them working with the map I'm making - (the added sectors are bigger) I'm making sure there's increased speed differentials between large/medium/small ships etc.. Their speed is really all that will be different from a standard map version, though.
Not sure what Ambush would think (or anyone else that's relevant) about me putting the collection up for general distribution as-is... Once I've finished the collection AND my map, along with other mods (increased weapon ranges, along with increasing the standard ship speeds to match etc.) I might see if anyone minds me adding them all together? (Though I'm also planning on making all the specific elements available by themselves.)
I've balanced the 'sides' out by:
Argon: rebel (some republic) fighters (and escort carriers)
Boron: rebel (some republic) capital ships
Split: Imperial (some republic) fighters (and escort carriers)
Paranid: Imperial (some republic) capital Ships
Teladi: Transports/some pirate/smuggler ships.
Pirates/Yaki: Own ships + Using some Teladi/Rebel ships
Terran/Xenon: Using some Imperial ships.
(I haven't touched the fighters, yet, though.)
EDIT:
Does anyone know of a way to create a working additional 'version' of a ship - by creating another ship ID of the same model, using the X3TC package creator (or anything else?)? I was able to do this using the old X3R version, because I could tell the plugin-manager to add the ships as a fake-patch, that I could then re-import from, (though the models sometimes lost their textures etc.) (Which is why I'm still using a small Corellian corvette model for four different ships.)
