Argon Sector 148 military station unable to dock - Worked around.

I have all of my universe traders and about 100 NPC traders stacking up at the Military base in Argon Sector 148. This not the base that is always red (I have yet to complete Terran missions).

I have completed Final Fury. When I look at landed ships in the military station it appears to be all the ships I had to escort (transports etc.) for the final fury mission, 16 of them. There are no open slots to land at. I cannot land and no other ships can.

When I look at the sector in the sector map all the ships are bunched up on top of the base. When I enter the sector they are all scattered around for 20k around the base.

Any way to fix this?

I have steam version with DLC. No scripts.

Have you verified your Steam installation of X3TC?

I understand the type of problem and that might be a very difficult issue to clear using vanilla if it is now embedded in your saves.

What in that base is so attractive to all your UTs and the NPC traders? All the ware prices for buy or sell should be at average there. Maybe find out what all your UTs are after buying or selling there and see if you can provide an alternative (cheaper) source or better-priced demand.

I had previously verified the game and did so again with it saying the files are validated.

I happened to notice in steam that it is saying that i have not received the steam achievement for the final fury missions. I am guessing the game thinks I didn't finish it so those escort ships haven't disappeared. I received the Griffon and the final fury mission is off my log.

The Base is empty of goods and all my ships are trying to deliver weapons and missiles. Almost all the NPC traders are weapons dealers.

What would happens if I blew up the base. Would I lose access to this sector for good or would I be able to apologize?

Outposts will always respawn after a while, but a plot object is usually invulnerable to damage below about 93% hull until the relevant plot is finished. Also you would lose some serious Argon rep that you would have to make up (if not using some exploit trickery to kill the station).

Since your game is vanilla, upload a save to a fileshare site and link it here (no registration needed to read and no mega-spam on the site please). I might be able to get one of the dev/scripters to have a look as they would know what to look for.

I guess you know about this FAQ.

I was contacted by Xenon_slayer and have uploaded a savegame.

Hopefully they can help with this issue.

This was resolved with a script removing the offending NPC traders from the station which was the most efficient way to fix the issue.

Somehow the game didn't register me completing the Final Fury Missions so the Convoy ships from the escort missions never despawned.
