X3TC - Corp Mission a Bit wacky - Now with workaround.

I'm trying to take a mission for Terracorp, but the mission reads "Object@345FDJ (or something like that) is under attack!"

So it looks like it's a protect station mission but the staion is not defined and when I accept it, nothing happens - I get no station to protect, guidance doesn't work and there is no time limit. I haven't failed any missions previously, so I didn't break it that way. Have tried to go do other missions and come back but it's still the same gobbledegook when I come back to Terracorp. Any thoughts?

Some questions for you:

• What version of the game are you running?
• Are you running it via Steam and if so have you done a file verification?
• Is your game modified in any way (the Bonus Pack doesn't count)?

I'm running whatever the latest version of TC is... 3.0 or 3.2? I can dbl chk when I'm back home. I am running via Steam... but I have no idea what a file verification is. What do I do?

No, game is not modded. Only has bonus pack.

The weird mission name it's giving me is "Protect Object.name@L1M40 M04.1 Object"

that mean anything to anyone?

Alan, that worked fine, thanks again. Verified the files then I just took that mission then aborted. Terracorp gave me another mission about 10 minutes later. All is back to normal.
