How to edit how a station appears

How do I edit so the Player HQ, has the same texture as the USC Orbital Patrol Base? I have X3 Editor 2 Installed along with the 3D model Viewer.

... you need a 3d software that can actually edit an object (your "viewer" can't)

examples: blender, 3dsmax, ... gmax

to make the object file compatible with these programs & to finally make your edited files X3 compatible, you need:

to find out which file you need to edit, open types\TDocks with X3E2, click on the headquarters entry: in "scene" is the path (folder: objects\.) to the scene file -> extract that file & find in that file a path to a ".bob" file (models are bob, scenes are .bod)

(hq model file: objects\stations\others\argon_player_headquarter_scene.bob)
