Lost the Unfocused Drive ??

I hope there's a fix. I did the thing in Lost Order and got the Acinonyx. But a game day later, I find that I don't have the Unfocused Jump. It's not on the sidebar that shows the regular jump and Shift-J. I checked the Game Controls that shows the hot key Shift-U works with the Unfocused Jump. But the Unfocused isn't there.

I wouldn't mind repeating everything, since I have one save left that shows the Unfocused Jump on the Sidebar. But I'd lose a whole gameday.

When I got to Lost Order, I automatically went to an Unknown sector. At a certain point I came back from that Unknown sector automatically. As far as I know, I didn't do anything that should have caused it.

You do need a regular jumpdrive on your ship for UF jump to show.

That's a different plot line, I am afraid. You have the choice here, either completing Shady Business to get back the UFJD (which takes a loooong time), or revert to an earlier save game and complete the Gate plot before coming to Lost Order for the UFJD mission.

Actually, getting back your UFJD doesn't take long - it is, in fact, trivially quick to get back. HINT: just think of who (which faction) messes around with UFJDs, and proceed there.

Iirc you get that back right at the next step in the mission - which is just a go there & talk to someone type of objective.

Okay, I got the Unfocused Jump back. Thanks All.

I didn't check the Resolution Specialist before because I want to cap Terran ships in the War Zones, before peace. My marines are close to ready, 4 x 100. Sometimes the Unfocused gives you extra choices, like jumping into an Unknown sector while a boarding progresses.

Now I can. I almost went way back to before I advanced to Top Terran rank. Now I don't have to. I really like this Forum. Ask for Help, and you get it!
