Hi Spank,

A couple of suggestions after enjoying using these maps again:


1. Fror a while I thought there was a 6th zone in The Quarry/Cold Star. Then I realised your Skunk was in a temporary zone. If you were to revisit that sector map, I guess it would be nice if there were no temporary zones visible.

2. Toride is miss-spelt as Torrid.

3. The addition of an undated Galaxy Map would be pretty cool if you had the time.

4. The zone numbering in Toride was fixed in a past beta. I'll send the new names and numbers tomorrow after I've finished mapping.

So the Khaak are not in HoL, that is everything I wanted to know, thanks.
I guess those are Pirate zones then.

For clarification, they're not in the HoL system itself, but are included in the HoL DLC

Info for creating a new Toride map follows.

Update in-game map available via my save here. I don't think there is any player property in the system so the map should be free of zone colouration and temporary zones.

Text for overlaying the zone names:

Haven't come across a Kha'ak Station, that might be the mystery 19th zone someone above was talking about?

But so far there is a Xenon region North of Torride and some interesting glowing red crystals.
But not seen any Kha'ak base, hopefully someone has found it?

Note that the map of Toride in the OP is still out-of-date as the issue of duplicate zone numbering was fixed, leading to numbering changing around (see my previous post for correct numbering and a save for making a map).

I saw the Kha'ak Station, love it!

Only gripe is it Lags like crazy, even more so than the Sixth Scripture.

They REALLY need to do something about areas with mist, it really pounds at my graphics card. 5-10 fps, spoils it.

Thanks for this info, I found the mission information to be a little breif, so now I know what I am doing.
Aladna Hill, Again, AP, 3.1. in the last Game worthy of the "X" title. <<<< X4 might just be changing this. :?:

Is this normal? I enter the jump gate from AL - IW - Cold Peaks , and I'm on an empty space 5million KM away from west gate?

Can someone post roughly the distance in Km from the MA gate to the Kha'ak system, i am at around 9000km and still no sign, wondering if i have gone too far and missed it.

I'm sure that is too far. I don't know the distance but it's probably less than 3000 km.

If you've found zones closer to the gate, the map in the OP is a top-down view, so you should be able to gauge your rough position relative to the Kha'ak zone in the x and the y axis.

loaded up the save, and started traveling to the Kha'ak sector, it only showed up as around 600km from last hearth, auto pilot seems to take the route through the sectors following the mist and asteriod trail, is that the only way to find the new sysyems by following that trail.

I would suggest that following your nose probably the most rewarding way to find new zones, and possibly the interesting way Dev's intended rather than "the only way" :)
