Goner Plot problem?

So I just finished the Goner Plot...

A UFJD was supposed to pop into my hold at the end of this campaign, I thought, but t's not there. Did I do something wrong? My current ship is jumpdrive equipped, does that matter? Do I have to be in a ship without a jumpdrive?

It doesn't go into your hold, but your inventory, right alongside your licenses to scan and kill pirates for profit.

Does that mean it follows me? It's there no matter what ship I'm in?

Correct. You still need to have a Jump Drive installed in your current ship to be able to use it.

Ahhhh...So it's like a "software patch" that I carry with me and apply to the jumpdrive of whatever ship I'm in. :o Sweet! 8)
