Living in London, swapping Mayfair for Nine Elms (Battersea) does really sound like madness. I lived many years on Battersea, and while you have a few good bits, there are a lot of rough areas and it is not a prestigious part of London.

Mayfair is legend.

Its on course to become the newest and most rapidly gentrified bits of London. They finally got permission to do something with Battersea Power station and I dunno if you've been there recently but they're building swanky multi million pound riverside flats for bankers and foreign millionaires like no ones business.
Actually, looking at the dates from a purely property speculation point of view the Bush administration made a damn good decision. But of course that wasn't the reason. The reason for the move was security, the US wanted a billion dollar high tech fortress and the old building was a) just unsuitable and b) listed so they couldn't change much.

Every post you make shows your stunning hypocrisy and you can't even admit it. If any of the actions committed by Trump were done by the Dems or HRC you would be on here frothing at the mouth but if Trump hires his family, lies 2500 times in 6 months, does nothing on North Korea after slamming Obama for the same, fails to engage Russia, fails to control China, apart from Jarad K caught red handed selling passports to the US for Chinese kickbacks, then by you it is ok.

Your a fake, like all Trump voters, you have no real interest in America, you only want to indulge a consistent, delusional rage, that everyone is against you and no one understands.

It takes more effort to ask someone why they voted for him than making a mental caricature of what you think a Trump voter is but it's less unhealthy than projecting your own fantasy onto other people.

Pfffft most of us understand the reasons why people voted for him that's not the issue. It's your continued to be frank blind support that has most of the world baffled. If you support him you have to support his vile behavior, his constant lying and flip-flopping, his inability to surround himself with professonals, his inabilty to fil the position needed to run a goverment, his obvious racism and god-complex. And well we dont have to like people who embrace such low and disgusting standards, is that guy is who you look up to and tell your kids look i hope you grow up like him, it is perfectly fine for us to frown upon such values wether you like it or not.

Hell that IS the weirdest thing, amongst who voted voted for Trump are many people that have always claimed they needed their guns in case they needed to rise up against their corrupt government. At this point i sooner see them take up arms to defend this corrupt government! Way to be critical of your leadership!

These are the kind of idiots are representing your country now:

Sure if you don't count the fact that he is 50kg overweight. Than again if I was old and rich I would probably also be overweight, but that still doesn't mean it is healthy.

Who have you voted for and what sort of scandalous things did you personally endorse? If that's the way you want to argue it then no one who has ever cast a vote has a right to judge anyone else.

That says it in a nutshell for me. People who act as if Trump can do no wrong, are either blinded by cultural conditioning, or they are unconcerned about having a low-life degenerate in the White House.

I can see how a person may support some of Trumps policies. I admit, there have been one or two ideas which Trump has expressed, that even I, a tree-hugging liberal, have found myself in agreement with. I didn't agree with everything Sanders or Obama or anyone else said or has done either.

However, political and philosophical differences aside, there is no getting around the lack of moral character or even common decency, in this man who the citizenry should be able to look up to as a role model and as an inspiration.

I can respect a person who tells me that they agree with some, or even most of Trump's ideas; but that they too, recognize the man is of low character. That person I can respect; even as I may vehemently disagree with them.

In contrast, it is difficult to work with those, who lack the honesty to admit, or are devoid of the simple sense of morality, to recognize Trump's many blatant shortcomings as a human being and leader of a great nation.

Who did you vote for? Was your candidate a perfect saint? It's a hell of hypocritical position to take if your vote wasn't for Mother Teresa.

As I said, I didn't agree with everything Sanders or Obama or anyone else said or has done either. Therefore, no hypocrisy.

Perhaps you miss the point that several here have been trying to convey to you. It's this position of Trump-can-do-no-wrong, that makes it very difficult to discuss any of the various serious issues confronting your nation and the world. That kind of unbalanced position is juvenile, not conducive to discussion and given the scope, dangerous.

I'm dismissing that point because it's presented as a smear. The possibility that I might not be 100% in agreement with Trump's policy or personal conduct is apparently getting lost in whatever vision of a Trump voter is being projected at me at the time. If you want to take the position that support for a candidate is not support for all of that candidates actions then I'm in agreement with you. Now apply that toward Trump supporters as well.

No we are dismissing you :P I voted for someone with a whole lot more integrity than you did, but then i again i could choose from dozens of candidates! Isnt multiparty grand! What you are saying is i chose the lesser of two evils. WTH i thought the US was such a great democracy (lol) but apparently the people don't have enough influence on the system that they get choose from decent people. Ha whats the greatest country in the world again? What a joke.

And btw we are also saying that you chose the worst of two evils. Hilary might be bad, but Trump is the worst we have seen in a long time in the western world. Berlusconi was as un-trustworthy as Trump, but at least he was really smart and knew how to talk properly. And again if you are saying that others are as bad as Trump, you are the one showing your bias, not the ones that don't agree with you.

The rest of the world is starting to suffer badly from Trump and America fatigue, if this guy indeed stays the fulll term, it will take the us a very long time to recover from that.

Reminds me of Bush the son. He was a jerk, and he was crooked. Snowden seems pretty left, to me, but even he painted a somewhat positive image of bush the son. You know what i think? I think that human beings, being able to adapt to changes, believe that if they're not living the best they can, they will change and adapt to become the best that they can. I believe this is the basis for the Dunning-Kreuger effect. As a result, if you don't agree with someone on something, you believe they're operating under different information. We, naturally, have faith in our preferred information sources, thus we assume that the other person is operating under incorrect information. Then, in turn, we assume they're therefore stupid (because you can't count incorrect knowledge as more intelligent than correct knowledge).

tl;dr: Has it ever occurred to you that people you don't agree with sound stupid because they're talking that far above your head that it sounds like incompetent blabber, because you don't understand the words?

If Bush were stupid, and if Trump were stupid, why have they accomplished so much more than you? Or are you actually willing to admit they're still more intelligent than you? And don't give me the opportunity thing. How many millionaires squandered their initial opportunities of the public education system (yes, i'm breaking my own heart) and suddenly became incredibly rich?

Lol im very happy with my achievements in life, and succes isn't a measure of intelligence. Beeing smart doesn't mean you have to run for president and beeing dumb doesn't mean you wont.

Saying he is succesfull so he must be smart is simplistic thinking, and doesn't come across as smart to me. Again way to be critical of your leaders.

I don't see you beeing the prez of the USA, but you do understand them? According to your reasoning you shouldn't be smart enough to do that either, lol
