Mobile Drilling System?

hI ,
have just bought mobile drilling system for my mercury and it is listed in the freight bay, but everytime i press the button along side it (INSTALL)
it takes me to the laser bay menu but doesn't list the drilling sys in amongst the lasers? Please could some one tell me what i'm doing wrong
or wether the drilling sys works on a merc ?!?

It probably mounts in the rear turret (If it mounts at all, I don't feel like checking at the moment), to install it to the rear turret, you must first enter the rear turret (F1 key). Then press '1' to install it.

Or you can install it through the ship menu by pressing the 'g' key.

It doesn't work on the Mercury. If you look at the ship information screen (scroll down a bit) you will see that it doesn't appear on the weapon compatibility list. The same information can be found on the Argonopedia.

Mobile Drilling System only works on:

Demeter
Caiman (I think on the rear?)
Orca
Mammoth
Albatross

I dont' think the Vulture or the Dolphin can use it, and the Mercury definatly can't.

My complete ship listing isn't quite complete yet!
Althoguh it fits PERFECTLY on A3 and on my wall too. :)

All TLs can mount the mobile drilling system, but you probably don't want to do that.
