I held off on asking for assistance because I wanted to make sure I tried this on a fresh Windows 10 installation to make sure it wasn't that.
This is getting out of hand. Getting random CTDs. There seems to be no apparent reason ingame that would be causing it. It could be in the middle of a giant fleet battle to sitting alone in an unknown sector managing my empire.
Here is my DXDiag: http://pastebin.com/r7WPfyKL
Here is the contents of "Crash.log": http://pastebin.com/qgYJzuSs
Any idea what is causing this? I would look at the dumps but I lack the tools to view them properly.

Hi. I cannot see any obvious issues in the DxDiag but for some reason you cut off all the Windows Error Reporting at the bottom of the DxDiag report which would have been far easier to read than the dumpfiles.
Unfortunately I cannot look at the sabrecasthost.com links as my AV says that the site has 2 viruses and blocks it.
The crash log indicates a generic error that *usually* turns out to be a driver issue. One thing that you can try just as a trial is to temporarily disable your SoundBlaster sound device and driver in Device Manager and then enable and use the onboard sound chipset output instead (after updating its driver as necessary). See if that avoids the crashes.
Is your game modded? Have you verified your X3AP and X3TC Steam gamefiles caches *separately*? (If Steam obviously.)

That is weird with sabrecathost. I've never used them before so I don't know of their reputation. Guess it isn't good.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0c_xB ... sp=sharing <- full dump.
Didn't realize that part of the dxdiag was important. Sorry about that. I tried to get it again but I have been overclocking my CPU since I generated the last one and now it is nothing but bluescreen errors in it from failed OCs.
My game is vanilla + bonus pack. I did verify AP but not TC because it isn't installed by steam so I can't verify it.
I was thinking it could be a sound driver issue as well but I have no solid evidence to support it.
ed: ok it crashed again and here is what it says in the dxdiag.

Only that one crash related to AP in there though

Thanks. Yes as I feared it is all generic Windows error stuff and not very helpful although almost always associated with a driver, codec or .dll issue that it fails to specify. If you are not having system hardware-related issues elsewhere then it probably is not that.
I recommend that you install X3TC properly in Steam (you have 95% of it already with AP so it shouldn't take long and should be free anyway) and then verify it please as AP uses most of the TC core files. The separate verify doubles the chance that installation corruptions are detected. Having the Steam TC version does not affect any DVD version files and runs the same (vanilla) saves.
Did you try the onboard sound with the SoundBlaster driver disabled?
