Ring tones

In the Dad Jokes thread I noticed Incubi said he had Gangnam Style as his mobile ring tone, basically in order to embarrass his children. Got me to wondering what unusual ring tones people maybe use?

Mine is the music from an old DOS game called Shadowcaster. You can hear it in the background here:

(Couldn't find a clearer version of it online, soz). I chose it because it's unusual and starts with a very obvious crescendo, so it's pretty obvious my phone is ringing!

I've played around a lot with ringtones (until increasing advertising spam on my phone made me use it less and less...) Currently, I use the Farnsworth's (Warehouse 13) ringtone, and my message tone is Betty's 'incoming message' from the X3s. Previously I've had, among many others, a clip from the Speed Cola tune (which I sped up for this) from the Zombie mode in Call of Duty: World at War, an excerpt from the title tune of Alias, ditto with Farscape, a variety of klaxon-type sounds including a WWII air-raid siren, a variety of clips from psy-trance tracks, "Incoming Chat Request" which I think I ripped from ICQ way back when, clips from the soundtrack to Command & Conquer (I recall specifically Mechanical Man and at least one other)... (Many others I've forgotten; I suspect among them a few that I would kick myself for forgetting - if I remembered, heheh)

Man, I'd completely forgotten about Shadowcaster. Long, long time since I played that.

My ringtone is Internal Affairs by the Night Flight Orchestra. Not super exciting or anything; the opening riff just makes a good ringtone.

If I heard that going off (the opening 10 bars of music) i'd assume it's a call that they're waiting for you on set...

My phone is pretty much perm silent, so i can chose to answer or ignore without anyone noticing. If i miss a call... so what, i miss a call. Phone is for my convenience, not other people's, so screw them! Most of the time I chose to not answer anyway.

My ring tone is the doorbell Chime from Babylon 5 ringtone linky.

Has been since forever, used it for my email before I had a phone. Nice and simple, and it works.

oh wait, ring tones. My babylon 5 one above is my incoming text tone. My ring tone is whatever the phone sets, because I don't care enough to change that usually.

The only ting I've found interesting is the imperial march, which I sometimes use as a short term gag ring tone to bug people.

I was actually thinking about using the "fighting" music from that game as my ring tone when I ended up choosing the Shadowcaster one.

Nokia 1100 had a tone called "Rocket". It took some effort to get a copy for newer phones. Piercing. Default.
