[X4 / XR] The missing link - April Fools joke

Alright, I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed the binary codes in linolafett's signature changing over the last month, so I hope someone can help me out here. I've got nine hints, but I have no idea if I missed one and to be honest I have a hard time, encoding the last three. Here's what I have so far:

Questions I have about this:
  • 1. Is my first one really the first or did I miss one?
    2. Did I miss one in-between?
    3. Do you also have to take the texts of the posts into account or is it only the signature that matters?
    4. What do the "pizza, pancake, pie" stuff refers to? I read it a couple of times here already, but I have no idea what it is about?
    5. Does someone already has the solution and can give me a hint? (Doesn't have to be the link or the key, a hint is enough!)

Wow, nicely spotted, The Q... Never thought to translate any of that.

Concerning any possible missing lines, I'd say there should be at least one either right before or right after "Pancakes, pizza and pie".
It sounds like a poem, and everything rhymes every two lines. When you put everything together, you get :

information are rare and I can't say something for sure
but maybe I can show it to you in pure. (rhyme)

Find the key and follow the link
but don't wear your glasses in pink (rhyme)

two times one, one times two, and three times three,
...the game I'll show you doesn't rhyme with 3D. (rhyme)

so the missing Message should be somewhere between the 22nd and 30th, most likely between 22nd and 28 if it was really posted in his Sig.

Ya, I tried to look as well, but I think updating your signature also update the ones from your previous posts??? (Found a post from the 22nd with the signature of the 30th.)

So Lino, if we missed anything, I'm afraid you'll have to repost. Otherwise we'll never be able to understand your genius. :wink:

I found the missing hint! Thanks for all the help, the measure and the date were the important clues. I had the same idea as UniTrader with searching through the internet archive, but as that didn’t work I also had a look into the google cache, where I was able to find a second signature hint for the 28th March. (I can only guess that this was a hint from an earlier post (posted somewhen between the 22nd and 28th March) in a hidden forum (DevNet or the like) and Lino forgot that normal user cannot see this. Or it was intentional to throw some people off. I have really no idea.) Anyway here’s the hint:

Besides the obvious portal reference, I would assume it refers to the various easter eggs in XR. There was a serious hunt for the ellusive pancakes a few months ago. They were eventually found, and apparently delicious.

hmm.. i just tried to use the first letters of the Messages as YouTube Video ID (its also 10 chars long ;) ) - didnt work.. but my gut feeling tells me its on the right track...

Stefan is an employee at Egosoft.
TSM is an user in this forum - I asked Lino about him a while ago when I decoded that message. He has the forum title "Not a moderator", so he/she most probably is affiliated with Egosoft or even Stefan.

I noticed that as well but I never put the puzzle pieces together :'D

Yeah I saw rest of his gallery and it is amazing! Sometimes i feel pitty X series are only games and I'm really looking forward to VR coming into X universe
