More about getting as much as I can from a given hull before it becomes more economic to buy another.

In other news I just capped an LX.
I think I'll have to invest in an afterburner for the Mamba, hit & run works better at high speed.
If you'll excuse me I'catching up with a P.

edit: And its an ex-P 8% boron rep in a single furball. P, 2 LX, (1 capped) 2L, 4M

edit 2: :shock: A K just dropped 4 gamma PPCs in front of me.
The Caiman Hauler is still on the other side of the galaxy without a jump drive...

Should've just ordered a basic Caiman from Family Njy and run it through to Thynn's Abyss when I spotted the PPCs...
Of course I can say that having spent a day at my desk processing transactions and running cashier reconciliations, didn't cross my mind whilst I was actually staring at the crate from my mamba...

Now that the plot is essentially done with,

(I just need to pickup a ship that can do towing and then buy an Argon trading station, all just money really)
it's feeling more like an X game and doing more sandbox stuff.
I'll probably do a mass sell off of the various fighter wrecks I've accumulated, (personal ships and Xenon caps excepted) should boost my capital a touch more.

Well you wait ages for a Treasure Hunt mission and then two come along at once...
Little over a million creds on the first chest and 1.4 million worth of space flies in the second.
Couple more million and I'll head back to collect the yacht.

Finally set-up to go drag the yacht out (RL has a habit of complicating things...) I'd kind of forgotten how frustrating this was...
Made it all the way back to the ship-yard and had to stop to change a nappy... (definitely didn't have that problem first time round...)
Unpaused to watch my Manmoth explode crashing into the shipyard.
Reload and now the yacht won't come through the gates...
Excuse me whilst I mash my head into the desk...

Are you sure you are getting far enough away for it to come through? Remember in TC when you have to tow the MMBS? It acted weird too where you would have to move waaaay out in front of the gate for it to come through.

Finally... I'm now sitting in my Chimera at Kingdom End...
Had to do the drag again but it's over.
Back to making money!

I suspect the problem had something to do with being in SETA when I hit the gate but I don't really care that much at this point.

Picked up the rest of the Pandora crates for the Chimera which now does 319m/s and is quite nippy on the turning as well.
Hopefully the game will now tell us where the Express Hauler is...

Well the Trading Station has been delivered so it seems like time for a stock take.
Amazed I've got this done with only 8 ships;
Starting Buster, 'One Clueless Owner' parked since I got the Mamba Raider.
Mamba Raider, 'Firestorm 01' parked since I got the Chimera.
Chimera, 'Firestorm 02' fitted with 6 alpha PBEs & 2 beta PBEs plus 2 MDs.
Iguana Vanguard, 'Cinnamon Sunrise' smuggler and main player ship.
Toucan Hauler, 'Junk Logistics' did a lot of the early goods hauling.
Caiman Hauler, 'Penang' bulk and XL cargoes.
Starburst, 'Gingerbreadman' fast taxi.
Mammoth, 'Bay of Bengal' dragged out the yacht and carried the station so far but plenty of future work for this.
Business plan has been to trade weapons and carry out BBS missions during the slack whilst factories are restocking, Nav-Sat in every sector with a weapons factory I can trade with.
Split & Boron are still iffy about selling me gamma PPCs whilst the 3 eyed freaks won't sell me a HEPT.
