How/or can you move a pilot to another ship? I would like to transfer one of my Sector/Local Trader pilots into another ship if possible.
Also is there a way to fire a pilot ?

I had read that but had no luck.
I had to place the Special Command Software on the Trading vessel I wanted to transfer ,from. Plus it had to be docked. I then had to have the vessel I wanted to transfer;to, floating in space (same sector as the other ship.)
I had taken off the shields and Fight Command Software and Trader MK3 software,placing it on a 3rd vessel (in case these would have been lost).
Once the transfer was complete I gave the New Trading Vessel;shelds and software,gave it trade orders and all went as planned.
