Just asking....
i guess because we have no better word to describe the case of a Universe with Zero Curvature.... i could explain in many fancy words, but either you already understand it or you probably never will ^^ at least if i attempt to explain it

Well ok, I already do understand it, but I've had a stressful day, I'm allowed to mess around if I want :)

Kinda ashamed I didnt think of it myself.
Unless I was secretly hoping no one else would want any... :gruebel:

Which brings me to another thing we all agree, there is never enough pizza.

How about "the truth is independent of our opinion".

We can be right or wrong but neither the fervor of our belief or the number of people who believe it will make any difference to an inherent truth.

This is the starting point of mutual respect regardless of the Argument posed. If we get the idea that there is a probability, no matter how small that the other guys point of view could be correct, then we go down the path of "you are entitled to your opinion, i don't believe it because of x". Followed by an acknowledgement that x for example is a more likely scenario but y could be the truth and arguing about it will not flip the truth from x to y or vice versa so let's go have a beer and rubbish the French.

The only problem is often most people will claim they and only they know the "one whole truth" regardless of the opinion of "anyone else".

I know the only true answer to my exam questions.

After a depressing few days marking this fact has been relentlessly ground in to me.

Erm. Aren't you supposed to know the answers ? :o

Or is this to prepare us a for a radical new form of exam where there are no right answers? A bold move to be sure and I can see it fitting the zeitgeist. Relativism and "alternative facts" being all the rage these days. Betsy DeVos would be very proud, I'm sure.
