"We can't prove that the glass exists." Hmm, does that imply that when the holder anticipates holding a half-filled glass, they also expect the other half to already be on the floor and over their feet? I know some people like that!

To the wine drinker, it's irrelevant - it just needs filling.

the glass is always full, it's just not always full of what you want, but that's not the glasses problem.

In a vacuum, the glass can be full of empty. Ponder that.

Or if you've dropped it the vacuum can be full of glass :(

Of course the glass is both whole and shattered at the same time until someone observes it.

Can it be empty while we can observe that it's empty?

An atomic physicist would say the glass is empty: When you look at the structure of atoms, most of matter is made of empty space anyway.

It means we're empty, too!

EDIT: And I just re-read the OP's thread, which have already stated it. So this post is emptier still.
Humans are deuterostomes, which means that when they develop in the womb the first opening they develop is the anus.
This means that at one point you were nothing but an asshole.

Some people never develop beyond this stage.
