the smeltery is useful, nice. Any plans for decorating the spawn? its a bit confusing, when you join and you are stuck in a dense forest.
I might want to build a small plaza. We yould then set the spawn to the middle of that

On the twitch app select mods on the top, then minecraft, and then go to modpacks and search for Feed the beast revelation.Tamina wrote:Thanks korio ^-^

Install that one and then launch it, put the address i sent to you in the PM on the multiplayer addess list and you are ready.
Thanks. For some reason this whole process only worked after a couple of retries.
Dont want to know how many minecraft installations are now present on my PC.
However it tells me now that the server disconnected. Will retry...
*Edit: Nope, sorry Lino Doesn't work for me. I think something is broken, no windows service is able to connect to the internet on my computer right now.
Have fun.

Well Minecraft get it's 15 minutes of fame on all news networks in the US in the way that's becoming all to American. A man lured an 11 year old girl and kidnapped her from chats over playstation while playing Minecraft.
It's something I blame on game console culture and the lack of a bit of policing that any PC game...well even this forum has.
And result is the game gets a bad rep for the console's troubles.

I have to take issue with you insinuating that a game, a console or a forum is in anyway responsible for the morally repugnant actions of an individual.Hank001 wrote:Well Minecraft get it's 15 minutes of fame on all news networks in the US in the way that's becoming all to American. I suppose you'd blame the gun or the bullet for shooting dead a person?
I'm not insulting the game at all. I'm saying that "console culture" tosses children into places where there are no real protections and it's the console makers that don't wish to change that and make differentiations between adult and minor users. It's a debate that went on behind the scenes and had some legislative moves in that direction stepped on by some savvy lobbying.

Dont turn this thead into a political discussion, please.
@korio: I do need some rubber bars. How do i get rubber in this modpack?
I managed to get some rubber from the rubber trees via the tree tap. I could then not convert this rubber into raw rubber via the furnace. Help?

Parents should be the ones taking care of what their kids do and do not, these days parents just throw a tablet to kids so they stop being annoying and parents can relax.
I have been playing games and viewing movies rated +18 since i was 8 years old and i had no problems at all, my father took the time to explain me what all that was and why they do it.
Start a new thread if you want to have a proper discussion on this matter
@Lino usually there is another kind of tree that drops rubber, is a bit hard to find early on the game, i will try to find some rubber for you this afternoon.

I probably then just need some seeds for this tre to make a rubber tree farm. I need the source, to be self sustaining

Hi again lino, i have been looking the rubber stuff and this time around there is no rubber droping tree.linolafett wrote:I probably then just need some seeds for this tre to make a rubber tree farm. I need the source, to be self sustaining
I have found a semi autonomous way of gathering rubber, its a bit tricky and you need a couple machines that are really cheap.
Go to my house when you log in and you will see a machine outside linked with a tube with other machine inside, check if that rubber is what you need.
Televisions, computer games, teh internetz, laptops, consoles, iPhones, tablets... All of these things have been, at one time or another, viewed as a "guilty pleasure" by parents. "Junior" isn't bugging them, isn't demanding their attention or requiring them to interact, so they can relax a bit and wind down after a long day at work. Never underestimate the impact of a two-worker household, either, and the decline of multi-generation households and the negative impact it has on raising children...korio wrote:...Parents should be the ones taking care of what their kids do and do not, these days parents just throw a tablet to kids so they stop being annoying and parents can relax...
I've seen television used as a baby-sitting device and, in the modern day, all the electronic interactions children have access to are also used, somewhat, as baby-sitting devices. Dinner table interactions are practically unknown, the family engages in fewer and fewer shared activities, children have more interactions with their peers than their parents and, thus, more time than ever in their own adolescent Echo Chambers to come up with the worst, most ridiculous and harmful, notions and values...
Yeah, a good subject for an entirely different thread!
PS - When I get my PC setup redone, I'll probably join you guys for a bit just to see how all this Minecraft Multiplayer stuff works. I've got the basic parts, just need to get the new PC together and set some things up. (Will be streaming it on my bigscreen/controller setup, probably.)
