The Blood Moon tonight ...

Post by euclid » Fri, 27. Jul 18, 15:29

... suppose to be the longest lunar eclipse of the 21st century. Unfortunately it has overcast this morning here in Wales and hence it's unlikely we will be able to watch it. Hope you got a better chance.

Won't see it here because it'll be daytime. Oh well, you've seen one eclipse, you've seen them all.

Bah, I was all ready to observe, the sky was all clear pretty much the whole day. And what do you know, half hour before moonrise, it all got clouded up SE to SW. What a shame.

Saw the eclipse and the Mars. Was really nice. Actually the first time I saw the Mars.

Chucked it down with rain here so not a chance to see it. History says that on the night of the 27th of July, 82% of those nights have been cloudy, so it was kind of expected.

Mars was visible since some days ago and will be for a few more days until this tiny red spot will again faint out.

I forgot to check Terraria... :(

(I don't think they have a special Blood Moon event for actual Blood Moons, do they?)

Interesting!

Guess you have to look to actually see it.

Just a full moon on this side of the globe. Had our lunar eclipse earlier on. Enjoy!
