I think I read somwhere that there wasnt any UFO's in X2 or they didnt believe in them.
Well ther is cus not only have I seen it ( it looked like a flying saucer) but I blew it to bits.

Dunno where you read that--the UFO has been known about in both X-Tension and X2 for a very long time now.

there is a UFO Flying about.

Does the UFO have any purpose, besides having a ship following it to 'auto-map' the X-universe?

No one has really confirmed there is deffinately no base or ever will be with updates so either way it is speculation although there is no spoon

Yeah, Veelad is right. The truth is that nobody knows it for sure. Many claim that they've browsed the script and didn't find any U.F.O. base in there. But this means precisely --- d*ck. Why? Well, what about the secret Goner base where they build the Goner ships? It's not in the script hence it does not exist? I'm sure it needs a particular event to spawn it.

A space fly queen would be awsome in a hatchery type thing
only allowed in capital ships though.
then you can feed them and repopulate space with the mighty spaceflies

For one, your right, browsing through the script gives NOTHING, but browsing through the game files, on the other hand, is everything. There is absolutly NO Mention about the UFO Base. Also, they build the Goner ships at the Goner Temple (doh).

There is? I Never seen such a base, and are you so sure? Please state where you saw this so called 'UFO Base' in the code. When you tell me, I will confirm once and for all if there is a 'UFO Base' or not.
