Can you get the Khaak laser weapons and their missiles?

I don't know about you guys, but even if they were available without scripting, I don't think I could stand having those weapons on my ship. That static-y sound just makes my teeth itch. :wink:

Aye they do have a really irritation sound, thats the only thing i fear about the khaak, their weapons driving me mental :lol: :headbang: :doh:

If you're weapons are weak, make 'em annoying so your enemies just go mad & kill each other instead :)

You can get the lasers when you capture a Khaak ship, I don't know about the missiles thou as non of the Khaak ships I have captured had any Missiles. They did have lasers and shields thou.

This is on Game version 1.4 without any Mods or un-signed scripts installed.

edit: just capped another bunch of Khaak ships and some of these also had missiles.

But you can't install them in any ship except other khaak ships, So there.

Besides RAs rebalance mod, does not only add new ships, but does allow many old ships to equip Kyon emitters as well.

My personal KM3 has a full set of Beta Kyons, 2 of 3 Alpha Kyons (just for kicks - I want to get all 3 and see if I can cap with this monster), and 4 of their <WEAK> Hornet equivalents (Thorn missiles, I think). I picked up a crate of unknown objects after an AI Phoenix mopped up a cluster, and to my surprise, they were missiles.
