IIRC some one was talking about this few day or weeks back that you get a BBS mission from pirates to use them some how. idon't know about it my self.

It is my understanding from reading the forums that this is one of the long running hoaxes. IE as far as I know it has not ever been verified. (someone more experienced than myself please feel free to prove me wrong.)

These really do exist, I've just picked up a "secret" crate on a Cahoona Bakery in the Wall. Sadly my Discoverer's cargo bay is completely full of them. I thought the Pirate bases would buy them, but they don't. I've just logged on to the forum to see if anyone else knows where to get shut of them...

Yeah i found a crate of 76 of these floating in a station. I even when on to theforum and asked the same as you, and the answers i got lead me to believe that they are pretty much useless, no one wants to buy them, they're highy illegal and they aint worth much, which is a shame as i thought i'd hit the jackpot, just beam them into a captured ship and flog the the ship and cargo in one go. but if you cant be bothered with that then just (as someone said earlier) "space them"!

I think there was suppose to be a use for them, but it was never created.
Beware of people telling you to release them in hollowed out asteroid to create a swarm of Space Flies as this is b*llocks, trust me i tried!

acquired wisdom? the beta testers (some of whom are mods, some aren't) are the ones with the acquired wisdom. Moderators are more likely to spend time on the forum as opposed to beta-testers who shud kno the game better.

Already spent £££ for 3 lost licenses, got in a fight with an Octopus copper (which netted me about 18000 after the sale of) and wasted about 40 mins moving 3 hauls into a manta in a TL for safety from the space filth.

I've noticed that spacefly eggs that are released and then zapped with an ion cannon turn into spaceflys. I suppose you could capture them then.
