X2 + AIW9800SE Shadows problem....

Post by Tare69 » Mon, 28. Jun 04, 11:15

I have Hercules AIW9800SE (I get it last week) and I have problem with shadows in X2 (v.1.2). My old 9600Pro did sometimes same when going to spacestadion, shadows did't keep in place, they jump and jump but my 9800 is worst: in first section of game (before missions) every shadow jump and some ship outher skeletor was like it have dancing feaver :(. When I put of shadows from game setup it was fine then....

What I must do to fix this problem (I know that it is likely ATI driver or DirectX driver what is damage)?

This is a problem that many people are having. Currently there is no fix and there is unlikely to be one in the near future. I've got the same problem. I've done all I can to highlight this but with no response from either Egosoft or ATi.

Looks like you're going to have to live with it I'm afraid :\

But I try to uninstall all ATI componets and reinstall then this night and hope best...

Some people says that if I can lower that videocard MHz with some program so that can fix it...
