Xenon Invasion = Ufo Base?

Well, like Tsar of Cows and many others here I have been looking for this elusive missions in more places you can mention (and some unmentionable too!) in the last 6 days. I have found nothing, nada, zilch, zero, niente, sweet f..k all !!!!

I also remember some pre-1.4 posts about another upcoming "developer's joke..."

which brings me to the point, or better, to this poll:

Is the XENON INVASION another chimera? A figment of an inebriated developer's mind after a bad pizza? Another Unicorn? Another UFO BASE? Have they stitched us up like a smoked kipper, stuffed us like a turkey at Christmas and hang us out to dry in the cold winter nights?

I am starting to think so....

when you think about it, its not as if the xenon are going to invade every day. so its a justifiably rare event.

Got 5 invasion mission offers in one base, took all of them and had to reload because it turned the whole sector into a slideshow. So I took only one, completed it for a nice 20mil, got back to that base and it still had one more invasion mission

Overall I got 4 of these, doesn't look like a hoax to me

What is this with a ufo-base anyhow... I read more about it but the only ufo's i've seen are those flying discs (or how do u call them in english).

So i havent seen them (yet).... But i'm not a simple miner, what should i say?

I've been looking for it the last 3 days. I've searched pretty much every "frontier sector", but I've found nothing.
I do believe it actually exists, but it seems like it's so rare I'll rather take my chances with the lottery

It absoloutley deffinetley without a shadow of a doubt exists.
Try these three steps:

1. Make sure you are looking in sectors within 2 jumps of a xenon sector.
2. Don't actrively hunt them out, sods law says you'll get none. Do other missions aswell.
3. Don't bloody well give up!!

See my sig. I have roughly 3rd highest rep.s with each race. I was flying an M5 (Pegasus, tender for an M2). I doubt any of this is important, though, people with lots of different ranks/ships seem to have found the mission.
