best ship for omicron mission

what is the best ship and weapons tro kill the unknown pobject on the omicron mission asi do the first and second bit but dont ever blow up the targets unknown object on the mothership in time please help meeee

I did it with the AHEPTs on a Perseus personally.

However I had a lot of faff dodging parts of the ship and having to reacquire the target. I think it may be better done with Mass Drivers as they go to target a lot quicker.

PSGs hit them all (Simultaneously, almost). You don't really need to aim. All you need to worry about is other ships attacking you.

For me it's always (been through it about a dozen times now) been the Teladi Osprey with a little Paranid Pegasus tucked under the belly. It can take a beating and when you have to get in close, the Peggy fills that roll nicely. Land back on the Osprey to do the shooting portion. Easy peasy...

Perseus (PSG's) with a Centuar on Protect me. I just couldn't manage to hit the targets on the M0 with HEPT's for some reason.

p.s.

Dragon, rear turrets set to attack target, could be a problem with the new ai thou, take some support, i recommend the Nova, about 10 of them. :)

Teladi Phoenix for destroying enemy ships and unknown objects and jump into a Perseus to get in close to the mothership :)
