Should the borons be wiped off the face of the universe?

In my old save game iv got 12 maxed out titans 7 phoenix's 2 teladi condors and 48 nemmy's. Should i wipe out the boron race entirely to seek revenge for all of us having to put up with mi-ton?
I know this sort of thing's been done before but can we really be blamed?

I don't think the whole race should be blamed for having produced such a git as Mi Ton. The other Boron are at least polite. The Spit and Paranid are another matter. They're *all* obnoxious.

kill the paranid, not the boron. in the start the paranid wont even let you dock and they wouldn´t even care if your engines failed in the middle of nowere. they would just let you die. they dont give a damn about you so kill them

Due to popular demand and a good point made by Lordcd. I have decided to hold my invasion of the boron and launch my attack on the paranid (after purchasing a few psg equipped oddys). In good spirit i'll also change my user name to paranid eraser

The Paranid and Split must both die. Horribly. The Teladi can escape annihilation by learning that there is only one 's' in profits. The Argon and Boron aren't annoying. They can stay.

If it weren't for the Ray & Dolphin I'd kill 'em all. I suppose I could live without the Ray though.

Hmm, I guess I'll have to store up 100 or so Dolphins and then extermintate them. They are perhaps the least valuable race...

I got better things to do, like capture every AI controlled Nova in the game.

Their pilots are so stupid. They sit there, watching your ships be shot to pieces by Khaak, they get in the way of IonDs and PSGs and then they attack you for it, they crash into your ships...
The Nova is an excellent ship and must be liberated from these useless and unworthy pilots.

The Boron are too sweet and gentle to attack.

The Paranid have advanced technology, and I like them for that.

The Split seem useless (and ugly) though. If you want to exterminate a race, I think you should choose them.

Kinda reminds me of a conversation a while back on a Freelancer board, one person said that they'd woke up one morning and the first thing they thought of was a lvl 10 Advanced Brigandine Shield. Another claimed that they'd been up until three in the morning trying to decide how they'd outfit a Stiletto if they ever got one.

Is this really how badly games get to us?

My problem is that I use
M5 - Teladi (M6 Tender) & Paranid (Scouting)
M4 - Split (Crystal buyer)
M3 - Khaak, Xenon, & Pirate (don't like buying them)
M6 - Paranid (personal use), Argon (OOSD)
M2 - Paranid (personal), Boron (OOSD), Xenon (someday)
M1 - None so far

TP - Split, Boron
TS - Boron (SPPs), Split/Paranid (others)
TL - Paranid, Argon

Every race supplies at least one critical ship type. I suppose in my game the Teladi are the least useful followed by the Argon.

If I kill the Argon, can I still use TerraCorp HQ & the Goner temple?
