QUICK question! pls answer :-)

I want to restart X2 now.....as in right now

but dont want to do story

please confirm the following:

I select new game...then the mod " <X-Universe> "

that is X2 without the plot right?

I ask cos it is ages ago that I did download another mod, massive war, which I don't want to play right now (think it does not work with 1.4), and I worry that I am getting it wrong....

Yep thats right, and there are no khaak spawning all over and presidents end is intact.

fair enough, it has served its purpose.

having said that there is probably a lack of X2 players that realise the X-Universe is available sans plot :)

im tempted to do the Massicve war mod tho, it is a bit more lively.

how come it is no longer added to? what happened to the two guys doing it?

they must've moved on.
I can't remember to tell the truth, but I seem to recall some disagreement about whether or now the khaak spawn in a custom game. I think the side that said that they do won out in the end.

The Khaak *do* spawn in a custom game - although it seems less often.

PE is intact though.
