I know this is a old question, but do UFO's really exist?

There is a lot of threads about UFO, check Search. UFO is in game and isnt really rare, I met many of them already. Look here if you want to see picture:

They do exist, I think it's the UFO-base which is a windup.

They look like flying saucers and show up on the Gravidar green like goner ships. They're listed as unknown object in the sector map screen as well. I've seen about 4 (in 2 months playing the game), I don't think you can cap them or talk to them.

Of course the UFOs exist.

And if you follow them with the right ship then they might lead you to the Secret Goner Base where you can buy the Cloaking Device for your ship.

The Secret Goner Base does not exist. and i think the existance of UFO's has bean cleared up now with pleanty of picture evidence.

Edit: The cloaking device does not exist either unless you script it into the game and even then it doesnt do anything.

i think it maybe, even if the player cant get one, one of the descriptions i read about TR is that theres a ship that keeps disappearing and its part of the plot to find out why...could be a cloaking device
