how do u catch space flies

i can get the flies stunned and i have a net please somebody tell me how to operate it

Once stunned, you scoop them like any other cargo.

i know you scoop them up but what do u press for the command
i tried opening the cargo doors tried the collect wares in sector man i even tried running over them

You need a Spacefly collector to collect stunned spaceflies. Install the extension, stun a fly run it over as usual. Places to find it are.

I think what he is asking, is how do you actually stun the flies so they become collectable.

Firing Ion Disruptors will stun Spaceflies. Then you hit 'o' on your keyboard to open the cargo bay. Firing the ID will make the beam jump to the closest target, so fire the ID, and watch where the beam 'bends'. IDs hit one target, and then jump to the next one, so you have a line of ion beams looking like a cat's cradle. The joint where the beam bends its the location of the spacefly. Keep an eye on the location, and fly your ship slowly towards it.

I don't usually trade in space flies, don't really think much of them other than a nusaince. If I actually wanted them, I'd go get some from the split breeding factories disguised as Massom Mills in one of their sectors.............oops, did I blow the cover on them? If nobody has actually found them then I won't name the sector, only that the neighboring sector has a mess of mines and asteroids.
