How do you use a space fly collector?
is there a certain place to use it?

p.s wot happens if you are cought with space flys?

You don't have to activate it.......it's kinda like the Ore Collector.

After you stun the 'flies...just fly over them and scoop them up like cargo.

.....and you can get shot if you are caught carrying them anywhere but Split space.

next time you spot space flies zipping around your ship, switch to an ion disruptor weapon, and zap em - this stuns them. then pick them up as you would with cargo pods, theyll be transferd to your hold.

spaceflies are illegal - if your scanned while you have them aboard you will have roughly 10 seconds to jettison them or you take a rank hit, and you get an annoying police m5 tickling your shields.

Use it like you would your cargobay the only difference is that it allows you to pick up spaceflys.

Anywhere there are stunned spaceflys. You stun them by shooting them with the Ion Disruptor.

p.s wot happens if you are cought with space flys?

If your caught with them you are told to drop your illigal warez and if you dont they try to destroy you, but since its only M5's that scan you it shouldn't be a problem.

-Once it's installed, you just drop your shields and "Run Over" the SpaceFly. Of course, you need to have stunned it with an Ion-D beforehand.

-You don't want to use the Ion-D too close to anyone or anything.

-If you're caught with SpaceFly's outside of Split space, they'll tell you to eject them or they'll open fire (they'll do it too!).

PS- Strangely enough, if you have a TL with a TS or other ship docked inside it, Patrol's won't register any SpaceFly's in the TS or other docked ship.

How do u know if they are there ?

Well, to start with you can see them and hear them.

Wot do they look like/soundlike?

You can see them buzzing around. You'll soon figure it out. they are attracted to engines IIRC so staying in the same place for a short while should show some up.

well, they sound like crickets at night plus the gooey sound when they splatter in your face ...I meant your ship.

Wish I could modify that spaceflies collector to automatically fly like a drone with a huge cargo space and an ionD zapping the suckers wherever they hump erm fly. I'd be a rich man!!!
