AEGIS, or weapon adjustment help need.

I'm trying to make a Romulan Plasma Torpedo out of the G(PPC).

I have it as a big blue ball, and it's using all most all the weapons energy for a single shot.

But NPC ships like the Xenon J are shooting them like they where regular G(PPC)'s IE multi-shouts instead of 1 from each turret like I want.

So is this the AEGIS system ignoring energy use, or am I missing an adjustment?

I dont know much about the coding off Aegis .. but I do know that everthing seems to be set for them ..

mean .. when a cap. ship has PPC and PSG .. and your target has big shields .. the AEGIS(actually G. crew)will use the PSG-weaponry .. even if you would mod it to a "pet the enemy" weapon..

so if you make "real" changes to weapons .. you should also mod the G-crew-script

Have you tried killing off a J or K and seeing what the re-spawn ship is armed with? It might be that the ships keep the original weapons until they are replaced... just a guess.
