Newbie Glossary (APAC,HEN,LT,TL,WTF??)
I've been surfing for awhile and noticing a lot of shortened versions of various things, and I figured I'd make a glossary for people like me who don't know the back end of a B.U.S from an APAC. For the useful stuff I'll go through and edit them into the top post so that its at the top.

I think, and it happens. I was thinking today that it wouldbe a good idea to create a thread with something like this, as well as the plot in spoilers and the stats of all the ships. Damn, now that, would be the ultimate guide to everything. Then we could include the links to sites such as the Argonopedia, TD's guides to mobile mining and SPP's, and oh geez, I just had it, but the thought just slipped out of my mind!
Whatever, you get the idea!

Hehe. I was gonna suggest that too, but I felt that might be "blowing my trumpet" a bit to muchCarl Sumner wrote:I think this needs a sticky! (hint, hint.)
What is HEN? I've seen it all over the place. What does it mean?
Also, what some good sources for info, other than the ones I've mentioned?
M3 ship guides, etc.
I'll add a link to the base of my top post.(Crossposting! Awesome! )

MARS is the autopilot from XT, I think.
Oh yeah - XT means X-Tension, the second game in the series.

Maverick: Requesting permission for flyby.
Air Boss Johnson: That's a negative ghostrider, the pattern is full.
Goose: No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.
Maverick: Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz a Split.
Split: Split now give you .... Aaaarrriiiigh.

Added. Note that the pronunciation for Seizewell actually changed between X-BTF/X-T and X², so a phonetic guide could be tricky!Stealth wrote:Another few to add to the sectors:
PE - President's End
OL - Omicron Lyrae
CBNW/SW/SE - Cloudbase sectors
AB - Akeela's Beacon
Maybe we need a phonetic guide for some of those, especially Seizewell and Omicron Lyrae.
