Phantom Xenon Js

I'm running X2 at v1.2 and don't want to upgrade to v1.4. I keep flying through Xenon Js. How can I overcome this problem? Is there a patch available or a work round?

Why dont you want to upgrade to 1.4? it makes the AI slightly harder but its nothing too heavy and easily overcome if you keep to defended sectors, there are also alot of scripts available that can help.
As for is there a patch available, you've already answered that ;)
Its worth it installing the patch if you like free extras, bug fixes and enhancements with no extra serious bugs.

Of course there's a patch available--it's called 1.4. Why don't you want to install it?
