Not happy! So now I am going back to work (Hey I'm just 17!) and working my butt off so that by october 30th I will have this:
3.0 Gz Athalon or Pentium
1024 Mb of freaking Ram
Radeon 9700
From what I've seen on other benchmarks, that should be the best for X2 with an average framrate up in the 80s, 90s. THATS WHAT I WANT!!
I really had no idea X2 was going to be so, graphically demanding. I knew it was going to be amazing, but it really requires a BEAST of a machine to make it look what its supposed to be.
I'm going to edit this post when the demo comes so it has my benchmark stuff. (I just want a post on the first page!)

To the eye, the demo ran quite smoothly - quite surprised on this ole rig of mine...
Hmmm...me thinks I'll get a GF4 or equivalent though....even though the test results show otherwise, the city and underwater scenes were stuttery as hell......[ external image ]
...gorgeous, but some optimisation required!

Deleted all the comments that were here. On to 3 sets of stats. (incidentally, all tests had AQC OFF. I tried it on and tried it off, and having it OFF gave better average frame rate...)
