YES!! it worked brilliantly..
i was attacking a relatively annoying pirate base with 5 LT's so while my mammoth went in with PPC's blazing and soaking up the punishment from the LT's leaving my compliment of 4 Novas to get "up close and personal" with the LT's, they didnt stand a chance!!
However, my TL and 4 Novas (and my personal mamba) were only barely nibbling away at the bases shields, so i tried something different..
when the bases shields finally hit 50%, i pointed my TL at the base, Hit my Boost extension, and beamed out to my Mamba with barely seconds to spare.. Unlike in X2, when you exited a ship, it marraculously instantly stopped!! i was treated with watching 100,000 tonnes of TL slam into the pirate base!!! and damn did that hurt!! took out its shields and about a quarter of its hull.. Needless to say My mammoth was toast however..
Best 30 Million Credit torpedo on the market by far!!!
