I have been looking in game and on the net and I can't find any information on where I can buy a Golem.
I would like to try it out for its stats, it seems sturdier than other fighters.
Could any of you guys point me in the right direction?
Where can I buy a Golem?

I found this note from the creator of the CWIR mod:
"Golems and moebius fighters are not purchased at stations I thought? Anyway, you could find the CV that allows you to build a small shipyard that can produce these ships along with the drostan torpedo bomber. (It is an experimental PMC small dockyard or something like that, you need to capture a special PMC CV in order to build the shipyards)"

As far as vanilla game is concerned, I don't think you can get them in any way.
Mods can solve that. As Alan mentionned, you can get them in CWIR (although they are really hard to acquire... I'm still trying. That PMC CV is very rare, and always heavily defended.) There should be a few other mods that will allow you to unlock them, too.
EDIT: I think BlackRain's "Player Shipyards and more" mod will allow you to access these ships without the whole "galaxy at war" game change present in CWIR.

Humans are deuterostomes, which means that when they develop in the womb the first opening they develop is the anus.
This means that at one point you were nothing but an asshole.
Some people never develop beyond this stage.

Thank you guys.
I think I will go for the "Player Shipyards and more" mod.
I can't start a full scale galactic war just because I want to try a new craft.
Beside I am not one for capturing ships, in many years that I have played X games I don't remember ever attempting to board anything, so it's most likely that I'd be crap at it.

Capturing CV's are a piece of piss, they only have 4 turrets. and you don'5t need experienced Marines to take them.Brinnie wrote:Thank you guys.
