New Mechanic - Corruption Station/Sector

Good afrernoon everyone,
I would like to launch this idea about "crime". Egosoft could add a value that represents the corruption of a station or a sector. It would have to be fought with the police. I don't know if they will have something like this in mind for the supposed piracy."new DLC".

What other mechanics would you add for this new DLC?

- An other idea: "sector taxes" This will add a new politic mechanic and a new way to ern money (if you own a sector).
- Early game you can use contraband, this means you have the freedom not to pay taxes. With the opportunity to collect the difference and the risk of being caught with its consequences or be an exemplary citizen.

This is the behaviour races would have in my mind:
- Teladi -> Low taxes they are almost Anarco Capitalism or liberals, citizen profit is the most important thing.
- Paranid-> Hi Taxes, the religious fanaticism is expensive is a reason to loot the citizens.
-Terran -> Hi Taxes because the defensive politics are expensive is a reason to loot the citizens.
- Argon -> Regular and balanced taxes for a nation without extremism.
-Split -> Regular Taxes Its aggressive character prevents its rulers from crossing the line, would imply the end of the race.


There are people who talk about the complexity of the game to pay taxes we do it constantly and it simply adds a value to the price of things. We do it day by day in life and nobody's mind explodes beyond not agreeing with a Impositive tax system but in your sector is your own decision. Some times people is drowning in a glass of water.

Corruption affects production. So there would be a trade war for taxes. Also as a business group we could affect the offer by attacking the police of the rivals. In the same way that it could be done as a faction knowing the suppliers of our partners.

Tell to Socialists and commies ( or new G7 15% tax law) thats why there is Teladi and mayb your faction?
And for states who take profits are interesting.

IS harder to understand in a trade game some people don’t want trade mechanics. Like Victoria 2, Star Sector, M&B, port Royale, sim city, Star traders ...

I’m teladi economically I read Haiek, Von Mises, Carl Menger, Anxo Bastos, Juan Ramón Rallo, Huerta de Soto ... Some of them ANCAP.
