Turret group number not matching between loadout and design - Fix in a future build.

Hi there,

I just realised the turret group number doesn't match between the loadout pane (wrench icon) and the ship "design" page (either building or resupply/repair menu).
For example, a turret group referred as L2 in the design page might be referred as group 6 in the loadout pane.

How do I know which turret I have to change behavior when I don't know its position on the ship?
For example I have multiple groups with the same turrets but I want to set the group on one side to attack fighters while the other side attack the station.

Did I miss something somewhere?

Can you show us some screenshots of what you mean? Preferably with annotations, so that we can see exactly which bits you're referring to. :)

Sure thing.

So in this one, you can see the reference is L1, L2, M1, M2, etc... Here I can see where each turret group is located on the ship. It can be accessed via right click on ship then information then ship overview at the bottom.

In this other one however, I can set the turret behavior but I can't really tell where it is located on the ship (unless I am missing something). The group numbers also don't match the ship overview.

The screenshots are great. It's very clear what you are referring to you, and we agree that it needs to be improved. The only question is when someone will get a chance to work on that. :)

Hope whatever changes would come would remember to take into account the modding screen too.
That's where my issue lies since I assign orders according to turret type.

Actually. Nvm.
I went to take a screenshot but selecting the equipment now properly highlights it on the ship model itself. Could have sworn it didn't use to do that so I figure one of the patches fixed it.
