Lino is having fun with messages coded in Terrakana again.

Folded since it's pretty large. (2560x1440) Mods can change it to a link if that's still a problem.

Just...why is it found in a non-Terran corridor?

:D

EDIT: To explain what the stuff means, the first stuff is a bit of "visual design basics". The other stuff is just my love for food and disdain for some software^^

Could you please explain how one would know about Terrakana? I would love to learn some more about it!

I tried searching for it for almost an hour (I was not aware google goes to over 100 pages in the search) but it's only been names of companies - mostly Spanish ones - some sort of a dirt race - a lot of pages in what I would assume was Cyrillic - and a lot of repetitions on the before mentioned.

I was always intrigued about those signed but figured they have no meaning.

Cheers!

Absolutely!

Terrakana is basically another alphabet, kind of like when you decide to make a secret alphabet for some reason, and then you write a few words or sentences using it.

I've seen it everywhere in X4 (maybe a bit in X3?) and eventually I got curious and decided to take a closer look and realized that it could be decoded. So I started decoded it on the adverts on station signs. Oddly enough, Commonwealth station signs seem to use Terrakana also. I have most of it decoded and I'm only missing a few letters. Sometimes, though I get confused because some of the signs just say gibberish.

I'm assuming it's just there because languages, and all that fun stuff, seem to evolve over time, and it might have just been developed at some point. And probably because X needed its own version of Galactic Basic :D

To be honest, I only learned about the actual name of the Alphabet when reading this post. Thanks Berserk Knight!

I still like Error Code: Susi better though.
