Are we able to give mass commands? - Explained.

If I buy 50 Asps and designate one as leader with the other 49 given the command to "Attack with Commander", do I have to give that command individually to each, or can I somehow give a mass command at once?

Likewise, can I assign all to a carrier at once, or 1 x 1?

You can select multiple ships in your property list with the common shift+click and ctrl+click mechanics. So you can mass-assign your fleet to its command ship.

Nope, shift clicking doesn't work.

To be more clear, I'd like to take ships in the unassigned ship area and mass assign them to a leader or carrier instead of clicking 1x1. As in 30 or 40 at one time. Apparently, we can't do that. A real pain when assigning 50 ships.

Step by step what are you doing? I've been doing shift click to mass select for awhile now.

If you have ships in list (e.g. 10 first ships) then by clicking the first using mouse, keep shift pressed down and click last you select all of them.
You can use shift only in first list selection. In case you have more ships what you want select (or ships are spread around the list) then keep ctrl down and click each ship individually to select them.

You can also draw area from map where ships are and then give them commands or assign them to wanted commander.

Like in an RTS? How do you do it? On the rare occasion that I needed to do this I've used the object list tab as a workaround but if I can just box select on the map itself that could be useful.
