[4.00 HF3] Invisible Xenon Asteroid Cluster in Savage Spur I - Fix in a future build.
Cluster of "Xenon Asteroids" shown in the plot area of Savage Spur I. Trying to "Attack in Range" command around this area causes ships to try and attack invincible and invisible plots.

Try to Create New Plot
Notice a bunch of red plots clustered together in the middle of Savage Spur I

In case it helps, here's anothe save with the same bug: https://mrevil.asvachin.com/temp/x4/save_010.xml.gz
It's become a bit of a problem for the Terrans, who have 13 destroyers currently stuck trying to attack empty space in Savage Spur I. You can see that the command for one of the lead destroyers, VFT-560, is "Attack XEN Asteroid". As Nagittchi mentioned, you can see the non-existent asteroid by trying to place a station plot in that sector.

Here's another report, just saw this and deleted my other duplicate thread:

There seems to be some phantom xenon stations in Savage Spur I that I cannot clear. Jumping into sector shows nothing, only way I can see them is when in plot mode (screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/U29xHcT.png).
My sector patrols are being attracted to them and is attempting to attack it. In the command window it shows that they are attacking a XEN asteroid (screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/sK0NzS9.png).

Thanks for the reports. Spooky Xenon stations will be fixed in the next build.

There are still spooky "Xenon Asteroid" and other "Unknown Station", when viewing "Manage Plots", in claimed Xenon sectors, north of ARG. Game verison 6.20.

@ Sansire: This is a very old version thread and the 'manage plots' cheat is not at all the same as your ships stuck futilely attacking Xenon asteroid locations in Savage Spur I; this time it may even be intentional Xenon regeneration behaviour in some of the sectors you vaguely described - so not really the same issue as the OP's. Please start a new thread if you think there's a problem and provide a link to a vanilla save showing the issue if you want a chance of it being investigated.
